From reading stock quotes in the morning paper at the age of seven to becoming owner of Hobble Creek Wealth, I have been fascinated with and invested in (pun intended) the financial industry for as long as I can remember.
In between, I earned a BS in Economics from Brigham Young University, which allowed me to continue fostering my interest in economics and financial markets. While I was a student at BYU, I met and married my sweetheart, Annie. We have four wonderful children together and are living the dream of being parents.
I love to keep active by running half marathons, mountain biking and traveling. From local destinations to foreign countries, I have come to love new cultures and people.
Growing up I always had a notebook full of goals, an envelope full of cash, and a plan for how I would best spend my money. I have always been money conscious, but I couldn’t have always told you what a stock or a bond was. In fact, I didn’t even know what a financial advisor did until I was in college. I stumbled upon this profession by accident, but I am glad that I did.
I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2019 with a BS in Personal Financial Planning. I enjoyed the courses I took and seeing how my money-conscious mind could be applied to helping others pursue their financial goals. I have been with Hobble Creek Wealth since 2018 and have loved it, especially meeting with all our great clients.
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Maddie, since 2015. We have a wild little boy who always keeps us on our toes and a newborn. As a family we enjoy hiking, trying new recipes, and having dance parties in the kitchen.
